This 1983 Land Rover 110 is a European-market wagon that spent time in Italy before it was acquired by the seller and imported to the US in June 2021. The truck was refurbished in January 2021, with work including stripping and repainting the body, cleaning the frame, rebuilding the five-speed manual transmission, reupholstering the cabin, and installing tubular side steps, a TD4 Puma-style hood, an NAS-style rear bumper and tow hook, NAS-style lights, later-model power-adjustable seats, and a sport steering wheel.
The body was sanded, grouted, and repainted in black in Italy during the refurbishment. Exterior features include a TD4 Puma-style hood, a front bumper with integrated LED lights, a front skid plate, an NAS-style rear bumper and tow hook, tinted windows, tubular step rails, and checker plating on the rocker panels and front fenders.
The 18″ Sawtooth wheels are finished in Nero Lucido and have Land Rover center caps, while 285/65 Radar Renegade R7 M/T tires are mounted at all four corners. A full-size spare wheel with a matching tire is housed on a rear-mounted carrier. Brake system components were recently replaced.
The cabin features leather-trimmed seats sourced from a later-model Land Rover, and the front seats are power-adjustable. Other refurbishment work included replacing the headliner, carpets, floor mats, weather seals, door locks, power window motors, and door hinges.
The aftermarket steering wheel frames a 130-km/h speedometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 171k kilometers (~107k miles).
The replacement 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was reportedly installed after the truck was imported to the US.
Power is transferred to the rear or to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission was rebuilt in January 2021, and components were replaced, including the transmission mounts and the clutch.
