This 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser is one of 2,500 Trail Teams Special Edition examples offered for the model year featuring a roof rack, skid plates, rock rails, Bilstein shock absorbers, black TRD wheels, A-TRAC traction control, a locking rear differential, and an inclinometer. The truck is finished in red over black and red cloth and is powered by a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
All 2012 Trail Teams Special Editions were finished in Radiant Red with a matching roof and a black grille, lower cladding, and fender trim with integrated mudguards. Additional features include a roof rack, rock rails, power-adjustable side mirrors, a receiver hitch, reverse-hinged rear doors, and a Trail Teams badge on the tailgate.
Black-finished 16″ TRD wheels are wrapped in 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires. A matching spare tire and wheel are mounted out back, and additional factory equipment included Bilstein shocks and A-TRAC traction control.
The interior is upholstered in water-resistant Dark Charcoal fabric with red accents. The floor liners are overlaid with FJ-branded mats, and additional features include air conditioning, power accessories, a Trail Teams dash badge, and a six-speaker CD stereo with Bluetooth and a USB input.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges, while a compass, outside-temperature readout, and inclinometer are mounted above the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 26k miles.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and an electronic locking rear differential.
